Burns & McDonnell needed a unified project and information management environment to efficiently collaborate with multiple contractors and owners on complex projects spanning numerous locations.

Lydon Solutions designed and built a project and information management portal leveraging Microsoft SharePoint 2013 hosted on Lydon Solution’s Microsoft Azure data center. The Program Management Portal is a single location where project teams at Burns & McDonnell can receive updates on the overall health of projects.

The Program Management Portal created by Lydon Solution was extended as a flexible template for major programs for Burns & McDonnell’s clients, including Southern California Edison, San Diego Gas and Electric, Pacific Gas and Electric, First Energy and American Electric Power.

Lydon Solutions was recognized by Burns & McDonnell in July 2014 with an award for the successful design and deployment of the Program Management Portal project.
